Recently I read an article about usability engineering. Its really fun and fantastic examples for lack of usability engineering.
I agree with that auther. 80% of software company doesn't care about usability. Most of my friends in software industry don't know my role.
Following conversation always happening with my friends ( s/w professionals).
Friend : What are you doing now.
Me : I am working as a Usability Engineer in a s/w company.
Friend: What is that?
Me : You know How google is being first in Internet industry ? Why not yahoo?
